The Environmental Litigation practice at Bonezzi Switzer Murphy Polito & Hupp Co., L.P.A. is much more than its well respected asbestos litigation group.  The attorneys at BSMPH have defended environmental claims for more than 30 years.  In addition to representing over thirty (30) companies and sixteen (16) insurance carriers in the Ohio asbestos litigation, the attorneys at BSMPH have specialized knowledge and experience in protecting the interests of companies both large and small, in an array of environmental claims and lawsuits and acts as National Coordinating Counsel for various entities involved in multi-jurisdictional litigation.

Our attorneys have a broad range of experience defending product manufacturers, product suppliers, premise owners and shipyards in single cases and mass tort litigation.  BSMPH has represented entities before federal and state regulatory agencies, including EPA and CERCLA matters, as well as, property remediation and site closure activities. Our experience covers a wide variety of toxic tort cases involving asbestos, silica, welding fumes, benzene, stachybotrys (black mold), trichloroethylene, creosote, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), beryllium, latex gloves and general latex products, formaldehyde, lead paint and dust, vinyl chloride and coal tar.

Our knowledge in complex mass tort litigation has allowed BSMPH to develop specialized databases and applications to track mass tort claims and analyze millions of documents.  BSMPH has also acquired one of the largest historical databases pertaining to most of the major industrial worksites in Ohio.
